Esther 8
Are you pressed against an imposing wall right now?
Although King Ahasuerus had evil Haman impaled in Esther 7, the edict against the Jewish race remained throughout the 127 provinces. This impelled unyielding Esther to petition the king once more. He complied.
Esther received Haman’s estate, and Mordecai published a second edict allowing the Jews to defend themselves with any retaliatory action necessary. Fear of the Jews fell on all.
Join Chuck Swindoll in this study of Esther 8 to learn how God can bring down the strongest of walls, soften the hardest of hearts, and amend the most permanent of laws.
