The book of Job might not have a plot that’s exciting, but what the book lacks in popular appeal it makes up for in realism. Entertaining it isn’t, but substantive and real? In spades! What happens in a book like this is you find yourself paying less attention to the temporal externals and more attention to the eternal. As we review the events of this book, we find seven lessons that are worth remembering. If you record and review these lessons, then, when trouble comes into your life, you’ll be more likely to stay on the path of obedience. Instead of simply reading about the life of Job, you will begin living that kind of life.
