This Month’s Ministry Letter

Dear Friend:

I've never been one for pretending. To be honest, now that I’m in my nineties, my body constantly reflects the truth of my age. My eyes and legs serve as daily reminders of the many journeys I’ve undertaken. My days of preaching every Sunday are behind me, yet as I remember those moments, something stirs within me.

I envision myself standing behind a pulpit with my Bible open beside my notes. In that sacred space, I am reminded of the gravity of my calling and the urgency of this mission. The thrill returns, the privilege floods back—the astonishing notion that God has chosen me, even in my frailty, to declare the glorious news that transformed history.

The message of the cross of Jesus Christ.

As I look at our world, engulfed in chaos, sorrow, and pain, I don’t see a need for better arguments but a desperate longing for the hope we proclaim. It’s more than wishful thinking; it’s the gospel and it’s as powerful today as it was two thousand years ago.

This is the heart of Insight for Living—to ensure that somewhere . . . in a car, a kitchen, or a distant corner of the globe . . . the power of Christ’s death and resurrection is made known.

Every gift you provide does more than sustain His message; it empowers you to join us as a minister of hope, reaching hearts through radio, the internet, social media, and printed resources. You help us plant the seed. We all witness God’s saving grace.

Please consider giving generously today.

The world is yearning for the cross we proclaim.

On mission with you,

Pastor Charles R. Swindoll
