As we journey through life, we inevitably encounter challenges, including difficult people. If there is ever a time when it is most important to keep praying, it is precisely the time when you are most ready to stop praying . . . when your spiritual knees are weak . . . when God seems to be a million miles away.
In Daniel 6, we witness a powerful example of steadfast faith. Despite facing dire circumstances, Daniel remained resolute, keeping his eyes on the Lord and his knees on the ground. Verse 10 tells us, “He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.”
Daniel’s steadfast focus on God, even amid great trials, is a testament to the strength that prayer and faith provide. For those living in chaotic circumstances, let’s encourage them by reminding them that peace is found in God's presence, not in the absence of adversity. Share with them the assurance found in Philippians 4:7: “The peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
As we carry on with ministry, your prayers are essential. Prayer enables us to reach more people with the hope and truth of God’s Word . . . which is exactly what we are committed to at Insight for Living. Your financial support helps us continue sharing God’s messages of resilience, hope, and faith, which we could not do without you!
Keeping our eyes on Christ,
